As a part of BUILD, we aim to accelerate ecosystem growth and long-term adoption of blockchain-enabled global money transfers by gaining enhanced access to Chainlink’s industry-leading oracle services and technical support, as well as incentivizing greater cryptoeconomic security, in exchange for a commitment to provide network fees and other benefits to the Chainlink community and service providers, including stakers.

SukuPay: Using Blockchain to Power Simple Global Payments
SukuPay, a solution developed by Suku, is the easiest way to send and receive money globally: transforming phone numbers into decentralized wallets. It allows users to send and receive money to/from 150+ countries, with no apps, setups, passwords, or usernames required. SukuPay enables fully non-custodial global money transfers between phone numbers — no apps or complex setups required.
Sending money anywhere in the world should be as easy as sending an email. SukuPay’s vision is to enable anyone to send money using only a phone number. We understand that blockchain technology should be an enabler, and we are merging the best possible tech with our obsession for UX to create the fastest, safest, and easiest-to-use financial platform to send and receive money globally.
Why We Joined Chainlink BUILD
Suku joined BUILD to maximize the benefits of security and reliability that Chainlink’s oracle infrastructure provides. As part of BUILD, Suku will receive key benefits, including access to and integration of Chainlink Functions to help connect smart contracts to the GSMA Open Gateway SIM SWAP API, Automation to enable time-based payments, CCIP to unlock cross-chain payments, along with access to new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases, among other benefits.
In exchange for these services, Suku will make 3% of its native token (SUKU) supply available to Chainlink service providers, including stakers, over time (to be defined in the future). These mutually aligned economic incentives enable both communities to support one another.
